Bhubaneswar: COVID-19 cases continue to surge in Odisha as 3631 new cases were detected in the last 24 hours in Odisha, reported I&PR Department. 2214 positives detected were from quarantine and rest 1417 are local contacts.
As of Tuesday morning, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the State surged to 1,13,411. While 28,763 of these are active cases, so far, 84,073 people have been recovered.
Of the new cases that are spread over 30 districts, the highest of 722 cases are from Khordha, followed by 370 in Cuttack and 365 in Mayurbhanj.
