Bhubaneswar: The surge in Covid-19 cases continued in Odisha with the detection of 3384 new positive cases on Wednesday.
The Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department of the State Government today informed through a tweet that out of the 3384 new positive cases, 2128 are in quarantine cases while 1256 are local contact cases.
As per information shared by the State Government, maximum number of positive cases have been detected in Khordha district followed by Cuttack 492.
The district-wise break-up of newly detected positive cases are as under.

As on date the cumulative total of persons tested for Covid-19 in Odisha stands at 15,53,257. Out of them the cumulative total of positive cases detected is 90,986 with 27,672 active cases.
Similarly, a total of 62,813 have recovered from the deadly disease out of them 3343 are new recoveries.
