Kendrapada: A rare leucistic common krait was rescued from Rajkanika in Kendrapada district, today.
As per reports, the snake was first spotted by a local small-time rescuer Tapan Jena. Thinking it to be same rare species, he immediately informed Snake Helpline member Nalini Prasad Das.
