Bhubaneswar: The market opening timing in Berhampur have been extended and now the markets will remain open from 5 am till 8 pm.
The changes come into effect from today, tweeted the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC). It added that the weekend shutdown will continue as per the State Government guidelines.

The order pointed out that violators will be liable to prosecution as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act-2005, besides legal action under the Section 188 of the IPC, the Epidemic Diseases Act-1897 and other legal provisions as applicable.
