Today evening,a motivational workshop was held at Urban Haat in which all the sanitation workers of Puri Municipality participated. The collector Puri praised their service to the society by addressing them as Swachhata ra Devi and thanked them for the commitment shown by them in making Puri clean . He mentioned that the sanitation workers especially women are the most important force in realising the Swachh Dham dream. He informed them about various welfare measures being planned out and undertaken for them which includes the ambitious ‘Garima scheme ‘of the state government. The sanitation workers were given sarees and soaps as a token of appreciation. A dinner ( Bada Khana) was also held for the sanitation workers.The Executive Officer , Puri Municipality thanked the sanitation workers for their commitment and contribution . 200 Sanitation workers were present in the function.
