BHUBANESWAR, September 27 : It reported that some misleading facts are printed in the First edition of the NCERT book of EVS.
This creates a major issue in the district of kalahandi. Sujeet Kumar, Member of Rajya Sabha, meets the Director, Prof. Rishikesh Senapati on Thursday and a Proposal has been made for correction in the next edition.
Director, Prof. Rishikesh Senapati assured that all the misleading facts about kalahandi district printed in the First edition will be contacted and printed in the second edition. The first edition of the NCERT book of EVS reflects that people living in Kalahandi faces food problems due to poverty.
To discuss this issue Sujeet Kumar, member of Rajya Sabha, meet NCERT director, Prof. Rishikesh Senapati at NCERT Office,New Delhi and asked to make the necessary corrections as soon as possible.
After the discussion acceptance has been made about the misleading facts in the NCERT book and requested to bring some changes in the pedagogy and inflation in the 2020 syllabus.
