Bhubaneswar: The debated downward trend in new COVID-19 cases was seen again on Tuesday as 2239 new detections were reported even though more than 50,000 samples were tested in last 24 hours.
Of the new cases, 1416 were in quarantine and rest 823 are local contact cases, tweeted I&PR Department. Cases continued to spike in Khordha district as 419 new cases were detected. Comparatively, the number receded in Ganjam as just 246 cases were detected.
