Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today sealed Hotel Utkal Inn Bar and Restaurant at Garage Chowk in the city for alleged violation of COVID-19 weekend shutdown guidelines.
A joint team of BMC South East Zone and Lingaraj police conducted an inspection and found that liquor was being sold to individuals during shutdown. This violated the shutdown regulations.
There was also a crowd on the road for purchasing liquor. Taking action in this regard, the team of police and BMC sealed the hotel, said sources.
