Chilika DFO Arrested In Disproportionate Assets Case

Bhubaneswar: Vigilance Department officials today arrested Chilika Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Alok Ranjan Hota on charges of accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

According to a source in the Vigilance Department, Hota was arrested for accumulating property worth over Rs 1 crore disproportionate to his known sources of income.

On Monday, the Vigilance had conducted simultaneous raids at Hota’s office in Balugaon, his three-storied residential house at Chandrasekharpur, another house at Khandagiri, ancestral house at Chasikhanda in Jagatsinghpur district and a relative’s house at Padmapur under Balipatna police limits.
