Reliance Jio is planning to launch a 5G smartphone for less than Rs 5,000 and gradually reduce the price to Rs 2,500-3,000 a unit when it scales up the operation.

At present, 5G smartphones are available in India in the price range starting from Rs 27,000.

Jio was also the first company that launched 4G mobile phones in India free for consumers where they were required to pay a refundable deposit of Rs 1,500 for a Jio Phone.

Adani Group and Piramal Enterprises are among the four entities that have placed bids for DHFL, the first financial services player undergoing insolvency process.

Oaktree has submitted a bid for the entire company and the bid value is Rs 20,000 crore as against the admitted liability of Rs 95,000 crore with Rs 10,000 crore cash in hand.

Therefore, accepting Oaktree bid would result in a write-off of Rs 65,000 crore for the lenders led by State Bank of India (SBI).

Beverages major Parle Agro, the maker of popular brands such as Frooti and Appy Fizz, plans to set up a new plant and introduce one more new major product in the next two years as it gears up to touch a turnover of Rs 10,000 crore by 2022.

The company clocked Rs.6500 Cr. revenue in 2019 and recently came up with a new offering, B-Fizz.

The entire Appy Fizz and now B-Fizz category have been an area where the company has seen maximum growth and expansion.
