Guwahati: Five Indian nationals who were allegedly kidnapped by China’s army in Arunachal Pradesh near the border were safely handed over to the Indian Army on Saturday.

The People’s Liberation Army (PLA) claims that they found them across the border. The five villagers went missing from the Upper Subansiri district.

The individuals will be released after being quarantined for 14 days.

The five men along with a couple of others had gone hunting in the jungle when they were whisked away by the Chinese troops from Sera-7, an Army patrol zone located about 12 km further north of Nacho.
