Bhubaneswar: In broad daylight unidentified miscreants looted Rs 5 lakh from a woman at Trinath Bazaar Chhak in Phulnakhara area under National Highway Traffic Police Station limits today.
The incident has been captured on CCTV camera.
According to reports, the victim had withdrawn money from Indian Overseas Bank, Phulnakhara at around noon and had walked back to her shop which is located very near to the bank.
While she was speaking to some workers engaged in construction work at her shop, the two youths who came on a motorcycle snatched the bag containing the money she had withdrawn from the bank before fleeing the spot.
