Balasore: The woman who was dragged into the mysterious death case of social activist Aditya Dash by the latter’s family has lodged an FIR against Aditya’s wife Bidyashree, his friend Bismit and others.
In her complaint, lodged at Khaira Police Station in Balasore, she has alleged that Aditya’s friend Bismit Das is harassing and maligning her as a ‘psycho lady’ due to the death of Aditya Dash.
Bismit is torturing her and her family members mentally by spreading fake news to the public. He used to call her over the phone by posing as a Crime Branch officer and send messages to her WhatsApp number many times.
He was also forcing her to join the Crime Branch and when she started avoiding him, he along with Aditya’s wife Bidyashree and other associates and started maligning her by naming her a psycho lady, blackmailer and etc.
She alleged that she was tortured by them mentally and they also threatened to kill her and her family. Taking this advantage one electronic media is spreading false news that she has already been absconded from the locality and showing her and Aditya’s blur photo on their channel, she added.
Based on the allegations, a case has been lodged under Sec 500, 506, 199, 203 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), 1860 at Khaira Police Station.
Aditya’s father Nandi Kishore Dash had earlier alleged that a ‘psycho woman’ used to blackmail the social activist and she wanted to marry him. He also mentioned that the details have been shared with the Crime Branch.
Following it, the complainant had said that her relationship with Aditya was short-lived and there was no animosity between the two. “Tagging me as a Psycho Lady is derogatory and I will take the legal course in this regard,” she added.
