Dhenkanal: With the spike in COVID-19 cases in Dhenkanal, Collector Bhumesh Chandra Behera on Saturday declared several areas of the district as Containment Zone for the period of 72 hours.
Reportedly, five positive cases of COVID-19 were detected today from Bhuban Block of the district including one from Jayapur village of Bhusal gram panchayat, one of Nuasahi in Rendapatana village of Kunida gram panchayat and three of Gothapatana, Talasahi and Uparasahi of Jiral gram panchayat.
Similarly, three positive cases of COVID-19 were detected yesterday from Ranjagole village under Ranjagole gram panchayat of Hindol Block.
In view of this, Jayapur, Nuasahi, Gothapatana, Talasahi, Uparasahi and Ranjagole have been declared as Containment Zone for 72 hours starting from 7 AM of August 22 to 7 AM of August 25.
