Team India pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who was on song with the pink ball at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru won the hearts of the fans not just with his performance, but also with a kind gesture towards Sri Lankan pacer Suranga Lakmal, who was playing his last match for Sri Lanka.s

Lakmal, after Sri Lanka’s bowling innings on Day 2, was congratulated by Team India head coach Rahul Dravid and former skipper Virat Kohli as the duo walked up to him in the dressing room as he brings down curtains on his international career.

However, there were more kind gestures in store for the 35-year old fast bowler from the hosts. In the dying minutes of the visitors’ second innings, the moment Lakmal was cleaned up by Bumrah, the latter ran up to him with a huge smile on his face to congratulate the SL pacer on a fantastic career.
