Sravan Ji left his last breath last night .. He was tasted COVID positive ,after a long struggle started carrier from a Bhojpuri film “Dangal” in which song “Kashi hille patna hille” by Manna Dey sahab was a huge hit… but still they had to struggle to bag for film… Shravan ji being the son of Guru— “Pandit Chaturbhuj Rathod” so had music in his blood & trained by his father… followed by two(2) younger brothers “Roop kumar rathod” & “Vinod rathod”
In year 1989 a new music company was launching so Anuradha Paudwal said the owner Gulshan Kumar ji to listen to Nadeem Shravan song from Dangal and also liked them a lot… after which he planned an album for which they recorded 12 songs… one fine morning Gulshan ji met Mahesh Bhatt & was discussing an upcoming film… Gulshan ji made him listen to song which they recorded with Nadeem Shravan & Mahesh ji was so excited listening the Songs so he requested Gulshan Ji to give away these songs for the films which was titled “Aashiqui” which would contain 6 songs & remaining 6 song for next film “Dil hai k manta nahi”
This was when Nadeem ji & Shravan Ji never looked back & journey went on… Shravan ji was the most humble & loveable person anyone could think of… he gave chances to big names in the music industry & fought for them… he has 2 sons “Sanjeev Darshan” who have also made mark in Music industry… He dedicated his life to music… His last visit was at Bhubaneswar for a audio launch in month of February 2021 followed by Darshan at Puri…
He was a blessed person & always a smile on the face…
