Bhubaneswar: Thirteen out of 30 persons who arrived at Cuttack yesterday after attending the Kumbh Mela have tested positive for Covid-19, informed the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Tuesday.
Reportedly, all 30 persons were subjected to the RTPCR test after their arrival at Cuttack Railway Station. After reports of 13 among them came back positive for Covid-19, they have been kept in isolation.
As more persons are to arrive from the Kumbh Mela, testing facilities have been strengthened at Cuttack Railway Station. Passengers with RT-PCR negative test reports not more than 72 hours old are allowed to exit the railway station through the main gate.
CMC has deployed its enforcement squad at the railway station for screening and testing of passengers who do not have a negative test report.
