Clear Matric Exam Confusion : Odisha Class 10 Students Stage Protest In Front Of CM Residence

Bhubaneswar: Class 10 students under the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha are staging a protest in front of Naveen Nivas, the residence of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday over the conduct of the annual matriculation examination.

In the aftermath of the cancellation of the Class X examinations by both the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council For The Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), the students are demanding to clear the confusion over the conduct of the examinations by the Odisha State board.

The Chief Minister had on April 15 announced to postpone all Class X examinations which was earlier scheduled to start from May 3 under the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) and had stated that the decision on the conduct of the examinations will be after a review of the Covid-19 situation.
